The Cardinals has been established for over 15 years!
The Cardinals are a register charity (charity number: 1077289)
The club was formed in 1994 providing an outlet for disabled athletes in Calderdale to participate in competitive sport. Juniors and adults participate in a wide range of activities, some competitively.
We provide wheelchair sports to everyone; our main sports are wheelchair basketball and rugby league.
As a club we work along side West Yorkshire sports and help the local schools in our community learn about disabilities and sports. Some of our members volunteer to do this work they take a few hours every week to help keep the club and the community linked.
We have social events thought out the year - all are welcome - you will find information on this site about upcoming events.
Please give us you support to help keep this charity going strong.
We get sponsorship from many different places, many of these grants are spent on running costs, player insurance, registration fees, equipment repairs and travel expenses.

one of our members recently got £1500 for a new wheelchair from Garforth Lions - Thanks to the Lions!!
We would like to thank all the people who have support us this years with out you the club would not be here so a big thank you to Local Network Fund and Community foundation for Calderdale sponsored us a total £9,562.50
